Teaching Background

 

Melissa first began teaching friends and family in between young artist programs but quickly realized this calling could become something more. She was asked to join the New World School of the Arts in Miami, FL as an Adjunct Professor of Voice where she taught in both the classical and musical theatre styles. After relocating to her home state of New Jersey, Melissa currently teaches at Cornerstone Music Studios in Millstone (Monroe and Monmouth Counties), the Alexa Teebo Voice Studio in South Orange (Essex and Union Counties), and her own private studio in Hamilton Square, NJ.

 

As an arts advocate, Melissa values a strong foundation in both the fundamentals and enjoyment of music. Music lessons are a wonderful way to truly understand the music we listen to everyday and challenge ourselves to learn a new skill.
